Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. We’re currently in the studio tracking old tunes while simultaneously working out arrangements for the new tunes. Much accomplished but, still a long way to go. We’ll continue to keep you posted and periodically share our progress in something other than written word.

A little update coming your way on the eve of the greatest holiday ever!
New Pilot has concluded our 2012 show schedule and we’re eagerly gearing up for the next album. Over the next few months we’ll be tweaking songs, writing new songs, getting a little weird, getting a little inebriated, waging passionate arguments about the creative process, celebrating success, taking failure in stride – we’ll laugh, we’ll cry, we’ll sweat, we’ll bleed and what we hope comes out on the other side is a full length album – the likes of which you’ve never heard.
We want to thank all of you how came out to support us this year. You guys are the best. Seems that every show is better than the last and that’s a testament to the good people who come out and give us encouragement, buy our music and merch, and spread the word about five guys who just want to have a good time.
Check back often for updates and other goodies we’ll be posting over the winter months. Expect us back on the scene in the early Spring months of 2013.

We are really, really, really stoked to be part of this year’s Last Green Festival.
The Last Green Festival is a 3 day outdoor music and arts festival in Brooklyn, CT. The festival will work to promote sustainability and greener living as well as promote preservation of our region. Our mission to provide education on more sustainable options for greener living will include: Exhibitors, Demonstrations, Public Speakers, Music, Art, Film and a variety of Food and Retail Vendors.
New Pilot is scheduled for Sunday, September 30th. Sunday tickets are $35 and the line up includes multi-grammy winner Ricky Skaggs and New Riders of the Purple Sage! As well as a plethora of other great bands and acts. Please contact us for tickets.

We are rockin a sweet benefit show @ Hyland’s on Saturday! Disc golf, fresh beer, live music! Hope you can make it down to support a great cause… we play right at 2:30pm!

HYLAND ORCHARD & BREWERY IN STURBRIDGE WILL HOST A BENEFIT SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL on Saturday, Aug. 4 from noon to 6 p.m. (rain or shine). $10 Admission; Kids 12 and under Free. Bands performing 1 to 5 p.m. Performers include classic cover band, Stur Crazy, Dick Chase, Camille Collins, Derick Cummings, New Pilot with Sean McKinstrey, Sara Ashleigh Band, The Smilemakers with Nicole Sutke. Lots of kids games with prizes, face painting, train rides, raffles, silent auction, ding dong cart, Big Daddy’s, Annie’s Kitchen. All proceeds benefit Tantasqua’s Robert Bombard Alumni Scholarship Fund. Come enjoy.

We’ve officially released the first single off of our new album “Looser”! Check out the music video for “Stuttering”!
The video is a mash-up of two classic films starring Clara Bow, “Mantrap” (1926) & “Call Her Savage” (1932). It was produced by Matt Soper.
